1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all vehicle rentals provided by Rent Your Car (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

The specific rental conditions displayed on each vehicle page, including minimum driver age, mileage limits, fuel policy, insurance coverage, and security deposit, form part of your rental agreement.

2. Bookings

Bookings submitted through our website are considered requests until they are confirmed by our team.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email containing your booking details and reference number.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information and ensuring that all booking details are correct.

We reserve the right to decline a booking if the rental requirements are not met.

3. Prices and Payment

• Rental prices are calculated per 24-hour period unless otherwise stated.

• Prices are available in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD), Euros (EUR), and US Dollars (USD).

• The accepted payment currency and final amount will be confirmed during the booking process.

• We accept cash, bank cards, and bank transfers.

• Any additional services or optional extras will be clearly communicated before confirmation.

• The agreed rental price will be confirmed in your booking confirmation.

4. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required at vehicle collection.

The deposit amount depends on the selected vehicle category and will be communicated to the customer before the booking is confirmed.

The deposit will be returned after the vehicle has been inspected and all rental conditions have been verified.

Deductions may apply in cases of:

• Vehicle damage not covered by the insurance policy.

• Missing fuel or additional fuel charges.

• Traffic fines and parking penalties.

• Late vehicle returns.

• Missing equipment, keys, or accessories.

• Other outstanding charges resulting from the rental.

5. Driver Requirements

The main driver and any additional authorised driver must:

• Meet the minimum age requirement specified for the selected vehicle.

• Hold a valid driving licence recognised in Morocco.

• Present a valid passport or national identity card.

• Be listed and approved in the rental agreement.

Only authorised drivers listed in the rental agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle.

Failure to meet these requirements may result in the cancellation or refusal of the rental.

6. Vehicle Collection and Return

The vehicle must be collected and returned at the agreed location, date, and time stated in the booking confirmation.

Customers arriving by air are encouraged to provide their flight number to help us coordinate vehicle delivery.

Customers must:

• Return the vehicle in the same general condition in which it was received, allowing for normal wear and tear.

• Respect the agreed return time.

• Follow the fuel policy specified in the rental agreement.

• Return all keys, documents, and supplied accessories.

Late returns may result in additional charges, which will be communicated in advance.

7. Insurance and Damage

Full insurance coverage is included with our vehicle rentals, subject to the applicable insurance policy and the conditions stated in the rental agreement.

Insurance coverage, exclusions, deductibles, and applicable limitations will be explained before the rental begins.

Insurance may not cover:

• Damage resulting from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Damage caused by unauthorised drivers.

• Damage resulting from reckless or prohibited use of the vehicle.

• Off-road driving or racing.

• Loss or damage resulting from a breach of the rental agreement.

• Personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

In the event of an accident, theft, or breakdown, customers must contact Rent Your Car immediately and follow the relevant legal and insurance procedures.

A police report or other official documentation may be required where applicable.

8. Vehicle Use and Responsibilities

Customers agree to use the rented vehicle responsibly and in accordance with Moroccan traffic laws.

The following activities are prohibited:

• Smoking inside the vehicle.

• Racing or participating in competitions.

• Off-road driving without prior written authorisation.

• Towing other vehicles.

• Sub-renting or lending the vehicle to unauthorised persons.

• Using the vehicle for illegal activities.

Vehicles may not be taken outside Morocco without our prior written approval.

Customers are responsible for traffic fines, parking penalties, and other violations incurred during the rental period.

9. Changes and Cancellations

Customers may request changes to their booking by contacting Rent Your Car.

All changes are subject to vehicle availability and may affect the rental price.

Cancellation requests must be submitted through our official contact channels.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellations made at least 48 hours before vehicle collection are free of charge.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before collection may result in the loss of any deposit paid, subject to applicable law.

• Failure to collect the vehicle without prior notice (no-show) may result in the loss of the booking deposit.

If Rent Your Car is unable to provide the confirmed vehicle, we will offer a comparable alternative or refund the amount paid.

10. Liability

Customers are responsible for the vehicle throughout the rental period, subject to the applicable insurance coverage and the rental agreement.

Rent Your Car is not responsible for personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

We shall not be liable for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable Moroccan law.

11. Governing Law and Contact Information

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Any disputes arising from vehicle rentals will be handled in accordance with applicable Moroccan legislation.
